Camp Ground United Methodist Church has an active membership of about 45 people. Our services, which are informal (no bulletins) but structured (regular order of worship), are traditional with an emphasis on the sermon and music, and without a lot of modern technology. We believe people should attend church to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, to worship God, to be comforted and strengthened, and to learn to apply the lessons of the Bible to everyday life and to have a joyful, pleasant and uplifting experience and not be merely "entertained." Sunday School for both children and adults is at 9 A.M. Central Time, followed by the worship service at 10. A staffed nursery is provided. A Sunday Evening worship service is held at 5 P.M. One evening service each month is devoted almost exclusively to music, provided by our own band, who play in styles ranging from traditional to bluegrass. Our Youth Group meets Wednesday evenings at 6 P.M. during our "anything can happen" worship service at 6 P.M.
